2012 Annual Residential Workshops

Continued growth and the proven success of our world-renowned Annual Residential Workshops have resulted in The Shepherd Centre introducing an extended Residential Workshop program for 2012. The program is designed for both families and professionals working in the field. The weeklong residential program in Sydney offers short courses for parents and professionals, as well as individual and group language sessions with children, designed to provide educational and practical information on developing listening and spoken language.

This course is complemented by three shorter workshops in March and June in the Central Coast and Newcastle area and in the South Coast area in September.

Families can attend either one or a number of workshops throughout the year where participants receive follow-up and build on developing skills. Come and experience the value of our multi-skilled clinical team; their expertise and focus on ‘take-home’ learning will provide a boost for your child and a plan for the coming months so their spoken language continues to develop. The workshop programs are designed to include the whole family with sessions specifically for siblings.
