Anthea Green

Role: Chief Executive Officer

Chief Executive Officer of The Shepherd Centre since November 2008,  Anthea comes to the role with over 20 years of experience in the health delivery sector. Prior to joining The Shepherd Centre, Anthea has held chief executive positions in public, private and not-for-profit sections of the industry. Past appointments include the position of CEO of Australian Hearing, CEO of the Victorian Transport Accident Commission Rehabilitation Centre, CEO of Southern Health New Zealand and CEO of the National Heart Foundation of Australia. Anthea is also a Director of KU Children’s Services.

Aleisha Davis

Role: Director of Clinical Programs
Area of responsibility: Program Services

Aleisha joined The Shepherd Centre in 2003, working as a full time Auditory-Verbal Therapist for 5 years before moving into the management of the clinical program. This encompasses the Early Intervention Program, Cochlear Implant Program and Program for families from rural and remote areas. It also includes responsibility for Auditory-Verbal Therapists, Audiologists and Family Support Workers. Aleisha also lectures at the University of Sydney in Aural Habilitation. She has a Masters in Applied Linguistics from Cambridge University UK researching the nature of language acquisition and speech and language disorders and a Masters of Speech Pathology from Macquarie University, Sydney Australia.

Michelle Tonge

Role: Financial Controller
Area of responsibility: Finance

Michelle joined The Shepherd Centre in March 2009 as Financial Controller. Prior to that, Michelle worked as Financial Controller for Worksense Pty Ltd, a work wear and safety company, after spending four years working for Ernst & Young in the Audit and Advisory Services division. It was during this time that her interest in the not-for-profit sector grew, having had several not-for-profit organizations as clients. Michelle has also worked overseas in The Netherlands for three years as Finance Manager for the European distribution arm of Red Lion Controls, a manufacturer and distributor of industrial control products.

Winnie Cheng

Winnie joined The Shepherd Centre in February 2010 as Director of Communications & Fundraising.  Prior to that, she was the National Manager, Fundraising at Mission Australia, leading the team to realise year-on-year growth in fundraising income despite the downturn in the economy.  She has a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in a diversity of industries including healthcare, professional services and the not-for-profit sectors.  Winnie has a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) from the University of New South Wales and is currently undertaking a Masters of Management at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
